Preparation
Ingredients
- 150 ml water
- 2 tablespoons freeze-dried donkey milk
- A couple of pinches of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon sugar (to taste)
- 1 shot of espresso (prepared according to your espresso machine's instructions or brewed very strong coffee)
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
Prepare donkey's milk:
Making the Latte:
- Pour 300 ml of warm drinking water into a saucepan. To quickly reach the desired temperature, mix boiling water with room temperature water.
- Add 4 tablespoons of freeze-dried donkey milk to a glass and stir until completely dissolved.
- You can put a little more powdered milk and then the taste will be more intense.
Making the Latte:
- In a small saucepan, combine donkey milk with ground cinnamon and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the mixture is warm, but do not let it boil to allow the cinnamon to infuse its flavor.
- Pour the prepared milk with cinnamon into a pre-warmed cup.
- Gently pour the espresso over the milk with cinnamon, creating a beautiful marbled effect.
Serving
- Top the latte with milk froth. To create froth at home, you can use a whisk or a milk frother. Simply froth a small amount of donkey milk until it forms foam.
- Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top for added texture and visual appeal.
Notes
Adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste preferences.
