This creamy ice cream is the perfect snack to cool down on a hot day. It turns out delicate, light, and airy, without being greasy at all.

Preparation

Ingredients

  • 600 ml water
  • 8 tablespoons freeze-dried donkey milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

Preparing the Donkey Milk Mixture:
  1. Pour 600 ml of warm drinking water into a bowl. To quickly reach the desired temperature, mix boiling water with room temperature water.
  2. Add 8 tablespoons of freeze-dried donkey milk to a glass and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. You can put a little more powdered milk and then the taste will be more intense.

Mixing the Ingredients:
  1. To the same bowl, add sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk the mixture until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Making ice cream:
  1. Cover the bowl with cling film and put it in the freezer for about 3 hours. Your task is to get the milk not completely frozen, but slightly melted.
  2. Transfer the ice cream to a pre-cooled bowl from the mixer and beat first on medium and then on high speed for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Pour the whipped ice cream into 6 molds and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely solidified.

Notes

Feel free to customize your ice cream by adding mix-ins like chocolate chips, fruits, or nuts during the last 5 minutes of churning.
